Issue 1602 is causing problems with the latest cygwin builds. Node v0.6 apparently is going to support native node.js builds. In other words, the below may be out of date.

(The above seems dangerously insecure unless it is combined with path validation of some sort. I'm not sure what services are available in terms of security for node.js.)
